[ANNOUNCEMENT] IFLA ASIA OCEANIA INVITATION TO SHARE YOUR SDG STORIES

Greetings,

To Malaysia Libraries,

Libraries are key institutions for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Asia and Oceania Section, one of the largest Sections in IFLA, invites you to share your SDG stories. An SDG story is a narrative about an activity, project or programme implemented by libraries and their partners, addressing community needs and making significant impact on community life at local, national or regional level.

Your stories will be collated and published in a booklet to showcase how libraries of the Asia and Oceania region support the UN SDGs. Stories with demonstrated significant impact may be recommended to be publicised in the IFLA Library Map of the World (LMW) (librarymap.ifla.org/stories).

We welcome stories from the six sub-regions of Asia and Oceania: West Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, South East Asia, North East Asia and Oceania.

Act now! Show your impact! Inspire others! Support the libraries and the world!

Submit your stories by 31 March 2020 at the link http://bit.ly/2RgRFtP for inclusion in the booklet to be published in August 2020.
